~ Baby knees!
This has been such a fun week! Raleigh has been sticking little baby knees, elbows, and her butt out--mostly when I go to bed, but it's so cool to feel that I don't mind the lack of sleep! I think I definitely know now why pregnant women always have their hands on their belly. Well I have known for awhile but my baby is getting so big that I am gonna have some corners on my belly!
The not so fun part--Christmas was very good to me and I gained 5-6 pounds in 2 weeks. Yuck. Now that my hours are cut though, eating all day will be a thing of the past. I combat stress with chocolate and other fatty food items, so there's the gaining part. I love these hours though because I still wake up early but now I can watch A Baby Story on TLC while laying in bed. It's really nice to take my time waking up and not have to rush around as much.
So, it looks like everyone is having their babies! Almost every pregnant person I know has given birth and on the journals I have been reading too, so my turn is coming up. I feel ready except for the whole pain medicine thing. I don't think my mom or Chris is going to want to watch me in pain but it is hard to say how people will react. I really want a pain med free delivery, but I was also the girl who had a prescription for menstrual cramps and I remember how painful that was, I could barely walk! Now that organ is going to be doing A LOT more work and it also 1,000x bigger . . . and I can say that my period pains were one of the worst pains I have ever felt. Other than that though, I have a pretty high pain tolerance, and it was enough that I used to get comments on how "tough" I was. It'll be interesting when labor comes around!
Anyway, week 35 is coming up--baby shower and lots of fun updates!
