I'll bet I said that to my Midwife about 10 times. My husband and I went to the doctor on Tuesday, with the intent on finding out what we were having. I couldn't wait. I thought about it for days, took the quizzes on StorkNet and checked the Chinese gender chart and of course they both told me two different things!!! She starts the ultrasound and the baby looks great. It has grown very well and everything looks normal. We started looking to see if we can see anything or lack of!! We looked and looked and every time we got to the "place of interest" that little stinker would not open its legs to let us peek. We looked for about 40 minutes and then my Midwife suggested we come back in a couple weeks. I was so disappointed. I really wanted to find out that day, but our little one had other plans. So we go back in about a week and a half to try again.
I was still very glad to see everything else looked good, including the cyst. It has gotten a lot smaller so we are not going to have to drain it which I'm very relieved.
My Kaden turned one this week and so we had a little family party for him. Of course he got spoiled with tons of clothes and toys and it was so fun watching him open presents. We baked him a cake and he dove right in as you can see in the picture. He was such a mess and it was so funny!! My other two got a little messy on their first birthdays, but nothing compared to him.
It is so fun to watch them grow. They learn so many things in such a short time; it is so amazing to be a part of it. It makes me very excited to have this little one coming so we can watch all the precious moments again!
