Happy Mother's Day! It's been a busy last few months. Evy is officially 15 months! Wow! Time goes by real fast when you've got a TODDLER! I can't believe Evy is already 15 months and walking. Oh and talking. And getting into every thing! And I mean everything. What is it about paper that attracts the kiddies? I don't get it! Evy has tons of toys. Toys that beep, bop, slam, and talk. But she doesn't want any of it. Just paper to chew on . . . Ugh! It's gross, but she loves to eat paper. Any kind of paper is good. Especially toilet paper and tissues. Maybe she likes it because it's soft and doesn't have any flavor . . . I don't know. I probably ate paper and much worse when I was her age.
It's awesome being a mom. I'm thinking of being a mom again. Then I have to tell Evy for the 10th freakin' time to stop putting strange things in her mouth. And then I think . . . maybe I should wait on that. Besides it's one enough?! Evy won't turn out to be a spoiled little thing just cause she's the only baby? I do worry she'll get lonely. I wasn't an only child, but my little brother is about six years younger than me. We didn't have anything in common until I was 30! Of course he was a boy and I a girl. That could make a difference. At any rate, it's not a good time to have a baby since . . . Yes reader! I have wonderful news! I've been accepted into a P.h.D. program at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. That's right! Me and family are packing up our goods and headed to Ohio. So it's not a good time for a little one . . . unfortunately. But my program is only 3 years of class work and then the dissertation. I can certainly have another little one during that time. Until then, I'll do my best to see Evy isn't spoiled too much. She's a good girl and will be a happy big sister . . . someday.
