Introduction
Anyway, I was intending to focus my journal primarily on the trials and tribulations of being a working mother with a small child, when God threw my husband and I a curve ball. We are pregnant again! We are due November 20 and although I was a bit overwhelmed at first, I am completely ecstatic! My husband hasn't gotten to the ecstatic part yet, but he will.
We have determined with this child, that while we don't know yet how we will manage it financially, that God wants me to be a SAHM. I am planning on working up until the baby is born, however, I am having a form of morning sickness (all day sickness) with this child that I didn't have with Gabe. Hopefully, that will ease up a lot. We are trying to be frugal right now and live like we will have to when I no longer work at a job outside the home.
When we found out that I was pregnant a second time, it was really tough on my husband. He's still adjusting to having one baby in diapers still. He is the most wonderful father, however he will be the last to admit it. He seems to be coming around, how could he not? When I was pregnant with Gabe, he walked around with this blank look on his face for two whole months. Everyone was secretly laughing at him and praying for him behind his back. Well, he doesn't have that look now, but he did when I told him. I'm really proud of how well he is doing with all of this.
As far as the pregnancy goes, everything seem to be doing fine, except for the heightened sense of smell and taste that I have. I am having the hardest time feeding the dogs in the morning. Soft dog food is the worst smell in the world. Also, as I said, I am having to deal with morning sickness this time too. I was hoping to not have that, but that was one of the little indicators that I might be pregnant before I knew for sure.
You guys feel free to email me. I would love to hear from others who are working moms and those staying at home. I'm gonna need all the help and advice I can get.
Till next time . . .
