Weeks 22 & 23 ~ July 31, 2002 ~ Busy Summer Hello everyone. Hope you guys are all doing great! So sorry that I haven't written in a while, but we've been really experiencing a lot of weird family stuff these last few weeks. With Edwin's job change and all, we've really had to do a lot of adjusting. Also, my father-in-law went into the hospital this week and spend two days in ICU, they've finally moved him into a room, so he must be doing better. ADVERTISEMENT Everything is going great with the pregnancy. Except that I've gotten a severe cold this week. Don't know where that came from, but I'm doing a little better now. I'm not sure how much weight I've gained since my last doctor's visit, but I finally get to see the doctor that will be delivering this little one August 1. I've heard nothing but the greatest things about him. He is new to our community and all of my friends who have been to him say that he is absolutely the greatest. I know I'm just going to love him. His wife is awfully nice too, she is his receptionist. I'm hoping that he'll go ahead and schedule my next ultrasound so that I don't have to wait until the end of August to find out if we'll get to know what this baby is before it's born. That's been keeping me on my toes for sure. Not knowing what it is I mean. Gabe is doing great. He seems to be averaging learning one new word a day so far. He's saying, bubbles, da da, ma ma, ball, no, thank you, uh oh, pa pa and a few other words regularly now. I think my favorite to hear him say is "WOW". It's just so darn cute. He's also really learning to color and be artistic instead of just playing with toys. He likes to draw with the big fat crayons and with pens on dry erase boards. I have to hand it to his sitter though, she really tries to teach him new things and goes out of her way to see that he learns while at her house instead of just playing. Hopefully by next week, I'll be able to give you a little more detail in the baby department. Right now, there isn't much to report, except that my stomach is really sticking out there! Ha Ha.
