Week 38 ~ November 11, 2002
Hey everybody! Hope everyone is doing great! I sure am. Just wanted to let you know that this will be my last entry before my birth story. I will be induced on November 12 at 6:00 AM. I am so excited to get this over with.
I asked my doc if I could do everything I could to go into labor naturally, and he said sure. He brought up the old thing about having sex to induce labor and I told him that I thought that was just a lie made up by men to get more out of us! Ha Ha. We tried that sex thing when Gabe was so overdue and it just didn't work.
Gabe is doing really well. He had lost some weight, about 6 pounds, a little while back and the doctor made me take him to have his blood drawn to see if there was something wrong with him. Well, we had his checkup today and he weighs 34.5 pounds! Also, his blood work came back perfect! I was so excited. The doctor just attributed his weight loss to him being really picky about what he eats and normal baby fat loss. Plus, he is getting really tall!
