Week 11
~ Another Tough Week

Every second Friday of the month 12 ladies get together and play Bunco, and this last Friday we got together. For those of you who have never played Bunco, it is a super easy dice game . . . and best of all it takes no skill, it's just luck! We each put $5 into a pot, and you can win money for the most Buncos, the most wins and the most losses. I got 4 Buncos which is super awesome and won the most Bunco money, so I was pretty happy about that. I still wasn't feeling well, and I threw up as soon as I got home, but it was nice to get out and have a good time with the ladies!!

On another note, I woke up Tuesday and felt horrible!! My throat was killing me; it hurt to eat, swallow, talk, etc, and I had no idea I could produce so much snot. I know gross, but it is true!! So anyway, we went to our doctor appointment which went well; it was just a quick appointment. We heard the heartbeat and I gained a couple pounds, which she said is good.

After the doctor appointment I dropped Robert off to work and headed to the Fast Care Clinic. It is a really convenient clinic we have in town, it is run by Mayo, it takes about 20 minutes and you are in and out with the throat culture (or other quick medical needs). The throat culture came back negative and I feel like I have been hit by a train, but I am just doing my best to drink a lot of fluids and get as much sleep as I can.

I still haven't gotten to the gym. I have decided that I feel the best right away in the morning, so I am going to try and get up early and go in. Hopefully this weekend I can kick this nasty cold and next week I can try to get back to the gym. I start volleyball again next week, so that will be a good workout.

We scheduled our next appointment in four weeks. Until then I have some fun things planned. I am hoping that when I hit 12 weeks things will start to get better and I have some more energy.

We would like to list our house. But we won't be able to do that until I can get up enough energy to keep the house cleaned all the time. Robert helps on the weekends but during the week he works 12 hours a day and by the time he gets home he is wiped as well. We love our house, but it is too big, we don't use half of it and our mortgage is large, so we are thinking if we can sell it then we could just build something smaller. I found a lot that I like and a house plan that would suit us for the next few years, so hopefully once we are able to get the house listed it sells quickly. I guess when I really think about it, we don't have a ton of time before the baby comes to accomplish all this. Oh well, I am up for the challenge and we always have the option of renting for a while if the new house isn't complete or staying with my parents . . . which would be nice, because my mom likes to cook!!!

Have a nice week everyone . . . we are hoping for some sunshine next week here in Minnesota!!
