Week 31

Our house CLOSED! We are so excited that it closed with everything that is going on; it just seems that something is going wrong in so many transactions lately that to actually close on time is a miracle. We were able to get the rest of the stuff out of the garage in the old house, so we are in the rental now, not a little here and a little there. Still need to get the basement organized, but I did start a little, so in time I will be able to accomplish that.

My husband told me I am getting crabbier each day. Lovely thing to hear! Ha. In my defense I just want to say that I warned him when we signed the contract to sell the house that we wouldn't have much time to get everything done and it was going to be VERY stressful for me and he needed to be helpful and patient. In addition to that I will be the first one to admit that I am getting crabbier as this pregnancy wears on, however, he made it sound like in just a few days I would be competing with the devil! I would also like to point out (for future reference when our daughter reads this someday ) that my idea of him being helpful and his idea of being helpful are two very different things!! I don't ask for much, but when I do ask for help with something I expect that it get done in a timely manne r. . . not wait for weeks until the day before it HAS to be done.

I also wanted to give an update on our offer that we made on a property. They did not accept that offer, but we are still countering to try and strike a deal. For sure by next week I will know whether or not that is a go or a no-go.

There isn't too much to report on the pregnancy. I have been having a LOT more heartburn. The Pepcid that seemed to be able to control it is no longer able to do that. I have been taking Tums as well and although it doesn't make it go away, it does make it bearable. Also, a few weeks ago, I said that since we are keeping the baby's name a surprise that she had been given the nickname Roberta . . . well that name has gone by the wayside. Yep, my dad started calling her Mildred and now she is being called Mildred by all! Haha, I can guarantee that her name will not be Roberta or Mildred.

I hope everyone has a safe weekend!
