Week 10
~ Thinking for Two

My doctor's appointment last week went well. We got to see the heart beat again! I was soooo worried that something happened when I rear-ended the car, and it is such a huge relief to know that everything is okay.

I'm at the point now where I can get really hungry, and I put a normal sized portion on my plate, and then can't finish it. It makes me angry because I'll be starving; yet only eat half my food. I give what's left on my plate to Jamie, which he eats, complaining the whole time! He is gaining the one gaining the weight in this pregnancy!

Next week is the first of Amy's showers and they just painted the nursery. It looks amazing! Now they just have to put all the baby stuff in it! I can't wait to see what the finished result is going to look like. I can't wait to get my house put to rights for the baby. We are in the process of remodeling both the bathrooms in the house, so the nursery is holding two toilets and a vanity at the moment. I'll breathe a sigh of relief when those projects are finished!

I now understand what is termed pregnancy insanity. I'm of the firm belief that the baby is sucking my brain out. There are times when I just forget what I'm in the middle of doing. I also temporarily forget how to speak and understand the English language. As my friend termed it, "You're thinking for two."
