Gwen's room is looking better than it was. We had the yard sale this weekend and did pretty decent, but didn't want to get rid of a lot of the stuff that is in her room. I went to Wal-Mart and bought some clear totes with lids to put our stuff in that we just can't seem to bear to part with. Hopefully we'll get her room cleared out within the next couple of weeks.
A lot of the stuff needs to go out to our storage building and we have quite a few tools that need to go out there as well. I have to nag my husband into doing the manual labor as most of the stuff is heavier than I'm supposed to lift.
My glucose results came back fine and that made me feel good. However, I was told that my iron levels are low and need to take iron supplements, which I'm not looking forward to. That does explain why I've been so tired hear lately and I'm glad that there is a fix for it.
On a positive note, I have a new nephew who came into the world at 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 inches long this past week! My sister-in-law, Amy, is going to be a stay-at-home mom now and had only one day with her toddler before she went into labor two weeks early! Both baby Luke and mom Amy are doing fine and are at home resting.
This week just went on forever in terms of how much has been going on! My husband has been staying at home with our son Michael and was laid off about three months ago from his job as a tow-truck driver. He worked one night a week and the whole weekend, which saved us from having to pay day-care costs. Jamie has been looking for a job every since without much success.
He finally got called for a "Job Preview" and "Testing Session" this past week and went Tuesday for the testing - which Jamie said was a bunch of math questions. They called him Wednesday scheduling an appointment for an interview Thursday. Jamie said the interview went great and he should hear back within the next two weeks about the job!
So much has been happening that it's hard to remember to get it all down in the journal!
