Herman and I got a chance to take a one-night babymoon before I left Israel. We dropped Yaheli off at her grandparents' and went up to the Golan heights to a cabin for the night. It was so much fun just to get away together and enjoy each other's company without the presence of a one-year old. We went out for a nice steak dinner. The next day we saw some ruins we hadn't seen before, toured the Sea of Galilee and ate ice cream. I would strongly encourage everyone to take a babymoon before the baby comes. We did it before Yaheli came also and every time it reminds me how much I love this guy who got me pregnant.
The day after the babymoon I came down with the flu. WHAT TIMING! Here I was trying to prepare for a trip, finish putting together our new apartment and deal with all the other things in life that a pregnant mother has to deal with.
