I apologize again for combining two weeks into one. Once again it's been a crazy busy two weeks. My brother is getting married Saturday so I have been running around doing this and that. Ethan is one of the ring bearers and we are going to pick up his tuxedo tonight; I cannot wait to see how he looks in it. Paulie is a groomsmen, and I am a bridesmaid so I am going to try to get a nice family portrait taken that day. We are really looking forward to it!
I had my glucose test and guess what? Yup, I failed! So now I have to go for the dreaded three hour one. Thank god I work at the hospital where I get it done. That way I can work while getting it done, and I don't have to sit there for three hours and do nothing. Paulie also went for his bloodwork to see if he is a carrier for cystic fibrosis so now we just have to be patient and wait.
Time is really flying now! Next week I will be in the my third trimester already. I can't believe it! I just can't wait to see and hold my baby girl and make sure everything is alright. I am so nervous especially with all the problems I have been having with this pregnancy. I did get to talk to my doctor more about the cystic fibrosis and once she explained everything to me, I did feel a lot better. If my husband were to test positive and baby girl did have cystic fibrosis, it would be a mild case of it meaning she would still live a long life and it wouldn't be so bad since it was found in one of my really rare genes. My husband and I talked about it and we are ready for whatever comes our way. We feel blessed to be having another child, and we know God wouldn't give us anything we couldn't handle. I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and emails, it does help tremendously!
On another note, I did end up with a kidney infection last week. I had such horrible pain on my side so after a lot of tylenol and antibiotics, it is finally gone. THANK GOD!!
Ethan is getting bigger and smarter every day. He seems to amaze me with something new all the time. He puts a smile on my face, and I can't even imagine what is going to be like to have two children putting a smile on my face. I couldn't be happier! My husband and I are always asking each other, how we got so lucky. Having children is by far the best feeling in the world and to have a husband/best friend to share it with makes it much more incredible!
Baby girl has been kicking up a storm, I love every kick and punch and I am enjoying every single one because before you know it she will be here and I know I am going to miss the days when she used to be in my belly kicking and moving around.
I need to go and continue with my running around; the next two days are gonna be crazy! I hope everyone has a great Fourth of July!!
