I hope everyone had a good Fourth of July. I spent an amazing weekend with my family, and it was definitely a good distraction from what has been going on with the pregnancy. My doctor did call me on Friday and told me that my husband's first set of bloodwork came back negative! I felt a wave of relief when she told me. Now we have to wait for the full panel to come back, and I am praying to God that it comes back negative.
Baby girl has been so active lately; she is constantly moving when I lay down. I love feeling her moving and kicking inside me, it reminds me of how lucky and blessed I feel to have a little girl, my daughter, growing inside of me. I can't wait to meet her in person!!
At my next doctor's appointment in the middle of July, I should have a date for my c-section. I just cant wait!! I am going for my three hour glucose test on Friday. I was suppose to go on Monday but when I woke up I was starving and had to eat something. I am suppose to fast but I don't know how I am going to go the whole morning without eating. I have a feeling I am not going to be able to complete the test. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully I will get through it without a problem! Pray for me!
This week the weather has been crazy in Jersey. Yesterday we hit 104 degrees; I couldn't believe how hot it was! Today is 102 degrees and the rest of the week is suppose to be the same. I am definitely staying indoors in the air conditioning all day. Thank god the hospital is nice and cold where I work. My husband works outside a lot and he looks so drained when he comes home; I feel so bad for him!
Saturday we had my brother's wedding, and it was amazing. Everything went great and everyone looked beautiful! Everyone kept on telling me that I did not look pregnant in my bridesmaid dress but I felt huge. Ethan, Matthew, and Vincent did an amazing job as ring bearers. They did not make a peep during the church and had no problem walking in in front of all those people. I was so proud of them!! It was a long day but we danced, laughed, and ate all day. I had a great time!!
Anyway I am going to go lay down and watch my shows on my DVR. This weekend we are taking Ethan on a Thomas the Train ride. I can't wait to see his face since he loves Thomas the Train. I will take some pictures and post them in next week's entry.
