Weeks 33 & 34
~ Gestational Diabetes

Hey Guys!

It's been a crazy two weeks!! I finally did my 3 hour glucose test and yes, I have gestational diabetes. These past couple of days have been crazy between taking classes, ultrasound, bloodwork, NST, doctor's appointments and all the other stuff that goes with it. I am so overwhelmed right now I don't know what to do with myself. Thank God I only have three weeks left until my c-section.

I am in the process of trying to get everything ready for the baby still and getting my bag packed for the hospital. I had an ultrasound at exactly 35 weeks which was yesterday and it showed that she weighs 5lbs 10oz so she is definitely growing right on track.

My cousin Dulcy had her baby girl Gianna two days ago, and she is absolutely beautiful! I took Ethan with me to the hospital and he held her and was very overprotective of her. He thought that Gianna was his baby sister and wouldn't let anyone hold her. He is to cute! I had to explain to him that that wasn't his baby sister and that she would be here soon! I can't wait to see how he is once Isabella arrives and we bring her home. I am doing everything I can to get him ready. I even had him watch Dora when she became a big sister. I think after a couple of days or weeks he will get used to it.

Well that's really it for these two weeks; nothing really much happened except for me finding out about the gestational diabetes and doing everything that it involves. I really hope the rest of this pregnancy is smooth sailing. I will be the happiest person on September 20th when I am holding my baby girl and she is safe in my arms!!

I hope everyone has a good week/weekend!! Tomorrow is my husband's 32nd birthday and we have my nephew's birthday party so I am looking forward to it!!

XoXo,
