I started Week 9 by going to the doctor on Monday and left the doctor's office feeling somewhat sad. The doctor sat down with me and basically told me that the clot wasn't getting any smaller and that she can't promise me everything is going to be okay. She told me to prepare myself for the worst and to take it day by day. She sat down and talked to me for about a half hour explaining everything to me and let me know what my options are. I am not going to make any decisions until i get further testing done. I am really praying that this is just a bump in the road and that in August or September I will be holding my bundle of joy.
Tomorrow early morning I am going for a ton of blood work and another ultrasound to see if there are any changes in the clot. Even with this news I am still thinking positive and holding my head up high. I can't wait to see my little peanut on the screen again. It makes me so happy and excited when I see my little one floating around. It does bring me mixed emotions to think that this pregnancy could end but I know in the end everything happens for a reason and what is meant to be will be. I will keep you guys updated on my ultrasound and all my blood work and hopefully everything will be good news!
I am still in the middle of planning Ethan's second birthday party. It's a week and a half way. His actual birthday is next Thursday and I still can't believe that my lil guy is going to be two; I feel like I just had him a couple of weeks ago. Every day he is talking more and more and he seems to surprise me with new words everyday. He is at such a great age and waking up to his smile every morning makes my day.
Besides my doctor's appointment, this week was somewhat eventful. Besides being tired and short of breath, those were the only symptoms I have felt this week. I did have off from work this weekend and so did my husband so we did get to spend quality time together. During the week I work 6am to 2pm and my husband works 12pm to 12am Monday through Friday so we don't see much of each other during the week because by the time he gets home I am already in bed so I can be up at 4:30am, so on my weekend off from work we try to spend as much time together and get everything done that needs to be done. We caught up on all our work that had to be done around the house and than Saturday night we rented COUPLES RETREAT which made us laugh a lot. I definitely recommend that movie to anyone who loves Vince Vaughn and can use a good laugh.
Well off to bed I go so I can be up bright and early for all my testing. Thanks for reading and goodnight!!
