Week 29 - August 11, 2006
~ Busy Week

Wow, what a busy week I have had. Something has been going on every single night this week. On Monday and Tuesday nights we had our annual Sunday School teachers planning meeting, which was a lot of fun, but it still kept me out until at least 9:30 both nights. Then on Wednesday we have our regular Wednesday night prayer service. On Thursday night, Brooke and I finished up a “Soul Winning” class that we have been taking, and tonight, Friday, we have their school orientation. Phew! Needless to say, I cannot wait until tomorrow. Wonderful Saturday. Rest and relaxation.

Well, on Monday school starts back for the girls. This is bitter sweet to me. Sweet because the girls will have something to do with their days, but bitter because I will no longer have the option of sleeping until 8:00 each morning. 6:15 . . . We’re baack. Ugh!

Along with starting the school year comes my favorite job of all. Cheerleading! I am the high school cheerleading coach for our Christian School. At the moment I am gearing up to beg/fight the school administration for new cheerleading uniforms for the girls this year. I feel that it is about time that they got new uniforms since it has been close to 10 years since they had new uniforms. Especially since last year every single other sports program were outfitted with new duds and we were left high and dry, safety-pinning and alternating. Yes, I am still a bit bitter about that, but I will not let it ruin my excitement about the coming season. I will just fight the good fight, and if it is the Lord’s will, we will sport new uniforms this year, and if not, then we will make due with what we have. GO CRUSADERS!! Whoo-hoo!!

I have a doctor’s appointment on Monday next week. Hopefully that will be good. I still have not gained any weight according to my home scale. That should be okay since I was carrying a few extra pounds pre-pregnancy. This girl has been moving around so much lately. She will definitely be a wiggler just like her big sister Rachel. I think that her favorite time to wiggle is right after drinking one of my beloved smoothies. I don’t know if it is the cold of the smoothie that makes her wiggle or if she takes after her mama and just likes smoothies. Yum!
