I can't believe I only have 10 weeks to go. I feel blessed and fortunate to have had a healthy pregnancy so far. Gabi seems to be getting more active; I thought she was running out of room in there? Every time she gets active for extended periods of time she gives herself the hiccups. She can have the hiccups 2 or 3 times a day which is pretty funny. I went to the doctor this week and he tried to listen to her heartbeat; she kept squirming away from him (lol). I guess she was playing or just trying to get comfy again. I also got some other good news from the Doctor: I passed the glucose test--thank goodness.
Big brother-to-be Willie has been giving the baby massages along with dad. I think that makes her more active because they always to talk to her and she seems to get excited. She tends to make my stomach lumpy pushing all kinds of little parts up and out.
Even though I have 10 weeks left I still have morning sickness! I still get nausea and have days with little or no appetite. I feel like the only reason why I eat is to refuel Gabi's energy. She literally plays around several times a day and she's been having a few late night parties. Sometimes she will sleep through the night but every now and then I get kicks that wake me up or that keep me up. It doesn't help when dad is snoring; he's actually adding to her energy.
Other than that I have just been resting most of the week; my belly is starting to feel heavier so I have been slowly scaling back on activities. I'll start looking for more baby stuff again--mostly items that we'll need and try to catch them on sale or stock up. I haven't done any real shopping in awhile other than groceries and needed things for home. Since I'm expecting a decent chunk of change from my income tax return I'll be planning to buy some things for myself and baby; oh and maybe Will and Willie as long as they don't get on my last nerves to much (lol).
