This week and over the next few weeks I'll be physically and mentally doing what I can to prepare for Gabi's arrival. I did get pre-registered at the hospital by filling out and sending in the paperwork. I'm almost done packing for the hospital. We got Gabi's car seat and I have to pack her little essentials too.
It's already bad enough I feel lazy most of the time but now my memory loss is getting on my nerves. I have to write everything down or do it right away while it's on my mind or it doesn't get done. I wear my hair natural in an afro and I use a pick to comb my hair every morning. I forgot my hair pick when I got to work one morning I of course I wore a hat that day. My hair needed to be combed badly and I had no choice but to make a pick or comb if you will out of unfolded paperclips. Yeah- paperclips. I made teeth with the clips and used tape to hold them together. It actually worked but I don't think I want to use that again. I usually have one in my purse but I don't know what happened?
I also had to start taking some new prenatal vitamins this week; the other vitamins I was taking got recalled. I really wasn't happy to hear about that. They claim it was a precaution. They either did or didn't do something they were supposed to do when making the vitamins and quite a few brands of prenatal vitamins were recalled.
And finally I still have morning sickness. People look at me weird when I say that but I still have it morning, noon and night. Gabi is doing well and I feel like my stomach is getting to small for her, she squirms and stretches often and has the hiccups everyday. Will and Willie are getting more excited too. They talk to Gabi even more and that just fuels her active activity.
