~ My Bundle of Energy
I've decided Hannah is going to be a bundle of energy. Though I have no past experience to compare, she is always SO active! Rarely does 20-30 minutes go by that she's not punching, kicking, stretching, dancing, you name it. My doc even notices it when we come in for our visits. It makes sense though . . . I'm a very hyper person by nature and my husband can be when he's not in public (he's a bit introverted on occasion). So I guess she'll get it honestly. I've asked a few others who had active children (in the womb) if they remained that way after they were born and have only gotten affirmative answers. Well, I guess I need the exercise.
I also think Hannah gets bigger each day. As I feel her moving around, I think I can distinguish her head from her feet sometimes. She's so solid. It's rare that she moves unnoticed to others anymore. When she moves, my whole stomach moves. It's actually pretty entertaining to watch.
My OB appointment this week was pretty uneventful. I asked her about some crampy, muscle pains I've been having in my side and she said they were probably nothing to worry about. She said I'm likely to have gas bubbles getting trapped and causing discomfort. Also, considering my pains are in the same side that Hannah usually kicks, she said that may be a cause as well. As long as she doesn't seem alarmed, I'll try not to be!
I keep reading about Braxton-Hicks contractions and how they'll start to get stronger now. I really don't think I've felt any. Any time I've had any sort of cramp or discomfort, I feel my stomach to see if it's tense and it never is. I guess that's a good thing though, right? Less discomfort, happier Terra.
Oh . . . and Hannah still seems to be horizontal. My doc said we won't worry about it for a couple of more weeks. Then if she still hasn't budged, we'll talk more.
Until next time . . .
