Week 9 came and went with little new. That's not a bad thing really . . . it means nothing new and bad happened. It just doesn't pose for as great of reading in my journals.
The nausea/vomiting battle has continued. Food just isn't as much fun right now. I eat because I'm nauseous, not usually because I'm hungry. If I eat anything past dinner, it'll probably come back up so I've started refraining from that. The smell of just about everything grosses me out so I breathe through my mouth a good portion of the day.
One fun thing we did do as a family this week was attend Chick-Fil-A's National Cow Appreciation Day. For those of you unfamiliar, if you dress like a cow and come into the restaurant on that day (July 9), you get a free meal. Free food? Always up for that. So, all four of us (yes, all of us) dressed as cows. I took Chick-Fil-A's 'starter kit' from their website and printed a few copies. Then I stapled the spots/signs to our outfits (old clothes that were mainly black or white). Hannah and I wore our ears in pigtails to look like ears. Benjamin and James had ears taped to headbands. The kids and I also had our noses painted brown. Check out our picture! It was a lot of fun and we were more creative this year than last. Maybe next year will be even more entertaining as there will be 5 of us.
Other than that, there's really nothing exciting to report. My first appointment with my midwife is Monday. This is a brand new office and staff for me so I should have plenty to share about. I'll keep you posted!
