~Ultrasound!
This week we had our ultrasound with Larry's sister, and the next day an appointment with Dr. H. Unfortunately, it was too early to see what sexes the babies are. We weren't too disappointed, unlike my family, because we got lots of pictures of them, and we spent 30 minutes looking at our babies sleep and move around. According to their measurements, one weighs approximately 4 oz. and the other 5 oz. They both are right on schedule. One measured 16 weeks and 1 day, the other 16 weeks and 2 days. I was 16 weeks and 1 day when I went in. I've got pictures of one of them sucking his thumb! It was so cute! We loved getting a glimpse of our babies. Seeing them move around and knowing that we really have babies in there. Sometimes it still seems surreal to us. We are actually going to be parents soon.
I've been feeling pretty good this week. Still feeling movements. My biggest complaints right now would be lower back pain on the right side, sore muscles, and an occasional sciatic nerve pain. The nausea still bothers me once in a while. It's no longer as bad as it was. I've been having headaches nearly every day. I mentioned this to the nurse who didn't seem concerned so I guess I'll just keep taking Tylenol even though it doesn't help much.
My next doctor appointment is in three weeks. This will be for an anatomy scan. I'm hoping to have Larry's sister Missy try again before that. I really want her to be the one to see what they are. Maybe she can try again in two weeks. I'll be 18 weeks then. Surely we'll be able to see something then. Until then, I'll just keep doing what I'm doing getting plenty of rest and trying to eat healthy.
