Jennifer and Gabrielle
One hour labor, unmedicated vaginal delivery

When Gabrielle wanted into this world she meant it! I was getting restless, just sitting around waiting for our baby to get here, so I made my husband drive us to my job to visit some friends. Around 11:15 PM. I was starting to feel uncomfortable and told my husband we had better get going.

On the way home when I was expecting to sit and time contractions, I started looking at the clock and realized I was having contractions about three minutes apart! So we got to my house where I told my husband to call my mother, because I thought I had to use the bathroom. I was wrong! My water broke, so I jumped up, ran down the steps and out the door we went. My mother noted the time on her cell phone from our call was 11:51PM.

We arrived at the hospital and they wheeled me up stairs, into the delivery room. The doctors barely had time to put their gloves on. They said, "push," and that's just what I did. One push and that baby literally flipped out feet in the air and all! Even made the doctor jump! And there was our beautiful little girl! At 12:21 AM, one hour after labor started, Gabrielle made her grand entrance!
